Originally from the tiny village of Secinaro, Italy the DiGiogio family bought a patch of red dirt at Lucindale in the South East of Australia and acquainted themselves with the locals and the land. Some five decades on, the DiGiorgio's have an established family vineyard on the red soils of what is now known as the Limestone coast.
Subtle use of French oak has imparted an additional layer of complexity to our Chardonnay, which was matured to perfection in the bottle to produce a well-rounded and harmonious wine. This white is full of character and personality. Lustrous golden hues shine from the glass. an enticing bouquet of apricot, nectarine and cashew nut create an enticing symphony for the nose. These notes cascade onto a finely structured palate showing racy acidity before a clean and zesty fruit crescendo.
