Description/Tasting Notes:
 A rich and structured full flavoured red wine. Deep red colour with hints of blue and purple. The power of the Syrah is balanced by the supple merlot giving great concentration with redcurrant fruit notes. The distinct blackcurrant and liquorice bouquet is followed by flavours of cherry and redcurrant fruit. After harvesting, the grapes are carefully macerated for 21 days which ensures that all the flavour comes out of the red wine grapes. The wine also undergoes the secondary (malolactic) fermentation before bottling which makes the wine smoother and less sharp. Excellent served with meat and game, cold meats and cheese.
