Description/Tasting Notes:
 A full bodied concentrated deep red wine with purple and violet colours. Tastes lightly oaked with lashings of blackcurrant and red fruits but soft and smooth on the tongue thanks to the Cabernet and Syrah grapes which also add to the fine tannin structure and a well balanced and lengthy finish. The wine is well made from hand picked grapes harvested in September 2002, the wine has then been traditionally macerated by foot for an hour every day to extract the maximum aromas from each of the grape varieties and after fermentation has been barrel aged for 12 months. Only light filtering was carried out before bottling to retain maximum flavours. A very fine wine that goes well with cheese, meat, strong ham and game. Can be drunk now but will keep for 10 years.
