Description/Tasting Notes:
 This is an excellent medium bodied red wine carefully made in the modern winery of Domaine L'Estello. The Carignan is fermented by the 'carbonic maceration' method which ensures maximum concentration and flavour comes from the grapes. This is combined with the Grenache and Mourvèdre both of which are well suited to the Southern French climate giving a wonderfully concentrated and complex wine. The initial aroma of game gives way to grilled spices, bay leaves and rosemary with fruit and liquorice. Great with barbeques or grilled meats, especially at lunchtime.
