Description/Tasting Notes:
This Vintage Champagne is a blend of grapes from Franck Bonville's best vineyards from the 1998 (50%) and 1999 (50%) harvests. The champagne has spicy aromas with an interesting mix of fresh butter and confectioner's custard added in and also hints of marzipan, ripe fruit and nougat. On tasting the vividness and fullness is accompanied with complex flavours of vanilla, bourbon and acacia and delicious flavours of apricot and cherry plum jam all followed by a long finish. Great as a luxurious aperitif and will also go well with fish or vegetable terrines, shell fish, fish free range chicken or white meat.
