Description/Tasting Notes:
This is a biodynamic wine, which can best be described as 'organic plus' (see FAQs). Using 100% biodynamically produced Chardonnay grapes this St Aubin is then produced using naturally occurring yeasts and natural fermentation so that minimal use of even traditional wine additives are used in making this wine. Technically, this is an outstanding achievement with white wine. It is as natural a wine product as you will ever see. What is even more remarkable is how excellent the wine is. This classic Burgundy exhibits lemon and pineapple aromas, has great body and a really smooth finish. The 'capsule' is special natural sealant to give extra protection to the wine from the air to compensate for the very low levels of sulphur in the finished wine that would otherwise provide that protection. Just push the corkscrew through to open the bottle.
