Description/Tasting Notes:
 This wine is 100% Merlot. Chateau La Fleur du Barril is the second wine of Chateau Haut Goujon AOC Montagne-Saint-Emilion. It is a wine with excellent aromatic characteristics of spice and menthol. The softness and balance of the structure allows it to be drunk immediately but it will keep for 3 to 5 years. This wine has won a number of prizes including one star from the 'Guide Hachette' and a Bronze Medal at the Concours General Agricole de Paris in 2003. An excellent accompaniment to a light lunch of salad or grilled meat.
