Description/Tasting Notes:
The wine is vinified by traditional methods with a long maceration period after the first fermentation to extract maximum fruit flavour, colour and tannins. It is then aged in oak barrels for up to two years. The mix of the soft and fragrant Merlot with the classic Cabernet Sauvignon of the region and the two years in oak produces this beautifully balanced wine, deeply flavoured, ruby coloured and with fine grained tannins. It is rich on the palate and ages well. Great with roast chicken or beef or with flavoursome dishes cooked in wine sauces.
