Description/Tasting Notes: The Petit Prince is vinified by traditional methods with a long maceration period after the first fermentation to extract maximum fruit flavour, colour and tannins. It is then aged in oak barrels for up to two years. The 90% Merlot in the Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend of Le Petit Prince produces the fruity aromas of cherries and blackcurrants to which the cabernet franc adds a hint of spice. It is a wine that is powerful on the nose and supple in the mouth. This wine is excellent to accompany game, patè or meats in full flavour sauces.
