Age Restriction
In accordance with UK licensee law when you place an order with Just Great Wine you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts. If you are buying the wine as a gift then the recipient must be 18 years old. All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult who can prove if necessary they are aged 18 years or over.
Delivery Terms and Conditions
Delivery is £5.99 (including VAT) for each of the first two cases of 12 bottles to be received at the same delivery, for the third case there is no charge provided they are purchased for the same delivery. For a delivery of four or more cases there is no delivery charge
From the time of placing your order we aim to deliver within 10 working days, although it will often arrive much faster. Just Great Wine is dependant on a third party courier for delivery for all their wines and shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond their control.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm by our couriers. Just Great Wine do not offer delivery on weekends or UK national holidays.
The Just Great Wine courier delivers to anywhere on the UK mainland but not the Scottish Highlands, UK Offshore, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and UK Offshore can be arranged for an additional service charge. Deliveries can be made to anywhere in the world (subject to import restrictions) and the export price for the wines can quoted excluding UK Customs Duty (currently £1-30 per bottle of still wine) and UK VAT. Please contact customer services for details of non UK mainland delivery charges or export pricing.
The courier will ask you to sign a 'proof of delivery' sheet or electronic notepad. If there is any obvious damage to the content of the package, it needs to be noted on the delivery record.
All goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If the courier is unsure of the age of the recipient he is legally required to ask for proof the recipient is 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted the goods will be retained by the courier, in which case the courier will leave notification of attempted delivery. The carrier will leave a card explaining they have called and they will re-attempt to deliver the wine the following day. If the parcel is not delivered on the second attempt, then another calling card will be left explaining that the courier have attempted a second delivery and the parcel can be collected from a local depot. If the wine is not collected from the local depot within the next 2 days the goods will be returned to Just Great Wine and the customer will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from Just Great Wine at their own expense. In case of any doubt, the leaving of a calling card counts as one delivery attempt
If the customer has given instructions as to where to leave the wine if there is no-one available to sign for the package it will be left in the place described on the order form. If Just Great Wine is to leave the wine outside your house it will be left at the customer's own risk.
Just Great Wine must have confirmation of any breakages or shortages within 7 days of delivery, either by telephone, e-mail or fax. If bottles are broken or damaged in transit to the customer, Just Great Wine will give you a refund for the damaged wines as long as you notify Just Great Wine within the 7 days and are then returned to Just Great Wine in their original packaging.
If no-one is home when the courier attempts to deliver your wine the courier will leave a card explaining they have called and they will re-attempt to deliver the wine the following day. If the parcel is not delivered on the second attempt, then another calling card will be left explaining the courier has attempted a second delivery and the parcel can be collected from the local depot. If the wine is not collected from the local depot within the next 2 days the goods will be returned to Just Great Wine and the customer will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from Just Great Wine at their own expense. In case of any doubt, the leaving of a calling card counts as one delivery attempt

Unfortunately being a perishable product, wine will from time to time be out of condition when you come to drink it. This is normally termed as 'corked' wine and occurs in less than one percent of wines consumed. If you are unfortunate enough to find a 'corked' wine within your case, please contact the customer service department. The wine must not be drunk or thrown out. We will arrange for the wine to be collected within two weeks and your account will be credited on receipt by us on return to Just Great Wine.
If the product is delivered damaged or the wrong product is sent in error, please contact our customer service department and we will arrange for a refund or a replacement to be dispatched as soon as possible and for the damaged/wrong goods to be collected. If that wine is no longer available, we will offer an alternative product or give you the opportunity of a refund.
